Scientific Studies Find Transformers Movies Similar to Modern Bubonic Plague

Researchers at Sealand Technical University have found that the Transformers movie franchise bears a discomforting similarity to the modern breakouts of the Bubonic plague. Asked for comment, Dr. Rhett Cunningham remarked “Well, after a study of disease transmission and control, we found that nobody even knew that either was still around.”

Indeed, Cunningham’s argument has merit: a MetaCars poll found that 88.9% of Americans (0% margin of error) agreed “Why the fuck haven’t we eradicated that already?” Statistics for opinions of the Bubonic plague were similar. Cunningham warned, however, about hidden dangers of ignorance – “This year, about a dozen Americans will get the Bubonic plague. Over a million, however, will be subjected to Michael Bay’s latest shart of a movie.”

Asked for comment, CarsRulezBLOG.com editor Richie Coco told Metacars “Basically I’m going to overstate every story tangentially related to Transformers. After all, General Motors paid for all that product placement, and even though the new Camaro actually kinda sucks, I feel like car fans demand to know whether Megan Fox will be showing her STD-ridden ass on the big screen.”
