A new report by the PMG Marketing says that 19.1% of Lexus buyers are actually deceased. The report came amidst claims from a number of Florida motorists that they had seen Lexus LS and ES sedans with corpses in the driver’s seats.

“This was different from trendy zombie drivers,” Boca Raton resident Lucy Solo told us. “These were just old people. I’m not sure if they died while driving or before they got in the car that day, but it was gross.”

Lexus has struggled with the increasing average age of its buyers for many years, and it appears they have crossed into this new market segment almost accidentally. “We knew we were stealing market share from Cadillac. But we had no idea that old people who already passed away were buying our cars. So we launched our new slogan in select markets to reflect this. Lexus: Faster than a Coffin.”
