Photos of new concept cars from Honda and Hyundai on Edmunds.com are suspiciously similar, leading some to conclude that a joint venture is in the words.
“What we’re seeing here is convergence of engineering and development in an ever-challenging marketplace,” said Peter M. Gazetti of PMG Auto Analysts, Inc.
Others say that Honda and Hyundai have been working together for years. “Their names sound the same,” said Kevin Astray of Detroit, Alabama, “I didn’t even realize there was a difference.”
